Dial Wood Carriage Driving for the Disabled is situated in a rural setting between Huddersfield and Wakefield. For the last ten years, we have offered Carriage driving and activities with ponies to disabled people - whether they are ambulant or wheelchair users.
Disabled people can learn carriage driving and horse care, or they can simply come and enjoy the fresh air and be taken for a carriage drive.
We run sessions all year round on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
About the National RDA
RDA is a federation of Member Groups, which are dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities, through the provision of opportunities for riding and/or carriage driving. Groups enable people to improve their health and wellbeing, delivering a real and lasting therapy that not only benefits mobility and co-ordination, but encourages confidence and self worth whilst having fun.
